How VitrA Fresh works

VitrA Fresh is a liquid detergent reservoir built into the WC or urinal. Each time the flush button is pressed, a small part of the detergent in the reservoir mixes with the flush water and spreads across the whole bowl. You can fill the reservoir with cleaners that contain no hypochlorite (bleach), with limescale preventers or with fragrance additives. After every use the pan is cleaned, hygiene is kept up and a pleasant fresh scent stays behind, with no extra effort.

Dosing

1 ml with every flush, no power needed

At the heart of VitrA Fresh is a patented dosing system. With every flush it releases exactly 1 ml of detergent, no more and no less. The system needs no energy source of any kind, neither electricity nor batteries: it simply comes into action with each flush, so there is no wiring to install and no battery to replace. One fill lasts for up to 800 flushes in a WC and up to 400 in a urinal, so the reservoir only needs topping up now and then.

Protection

The flushing mechanism stays protected

Cleaning products are often poured straight into the cistern, where over time they can corrode the flushing mechanism. VitrA Fresh removes that risk altogether: its detergent reservoir is installed independently of the cistern, so the chemicals never touch the cistern's internal parts. The pan is cleaned thoroughly with every flush and protected against the build-up of bacteria, while the flushing system stays out of harm's way.

What to fill it with, and where you find it

For the VitrA Fresh reservoir, choose a liquid cleaner that contains no acid, no hypochlorite (bleach) and no powder. Solid and powder products are not suitable, and liquid ones help the product last longer. Besides detergent, the reservoir also takes limescale preventers and fragrances. VitrA Fresh is built into WCs and urinals; Nest, Metropole and D-Light WCs with VitrA Fresh, including models with a bidet function and with Rim-ex, are available to order.
