Start with Zones, Not Color
Bathroom design often starts with choosing a color, but in practice, a more appropriate first step is to zone. Where do you wash your hands, where is the shower, where is the toilet, where do you store towels and cleaning supplies? When the flow of traffic is planned correctly, color and decor come together more smoothly.

The wet zone, dry zone, and storage space should not clash. If the shower door is flush with the toilet or the towel rack cannot keep up with the siphon, even the most beautiful visuals become a daily problem.

Check the plumbing in one line
The washbasin, mixer, siphon, mirror, and cabinet should be considered together. Each item may be good on its own, but not match each other in size or color. The same applies to the shower system, drain, glass partition and tile format.

The location of the toilet and shower follows the communications. Changing them is not always possible or creates additional costs. Therefore, pipes and technical limitations must first be clarified when planning.

Tile, mirror and lighting
Bathroom tiles create the character of the space. Large formats provide a calm visual, while small formats are flexible in details and difficult corners. The size and lighting of the mirror determine daily use, especially in the morning and evening.

One central lamp is often not enough. Mirror lighting, soft general lighting and the right lighting of the shower area make the bathroom much more comfortable. The light tone should not be too cold or too yellow if you use the mirror for daily care.

Storage and maintenance
A good bathroom should not only be beautiful on the first day. Cleaning products, towels, cosmetics and everyday items should be stored in their place. If everything is left open, the space will quickly become cluttered.

Choose surfaces that are easy to maintain and maintain. High-gloss dark surfaces are beautiful, but water stains are often visible. Warm stone effects and medium tones are a more peaceful and practical choice for many homes.
