Safe and comfortable use of the bathroom for people with disabilities<\/a> is one of the main prerequisites of everyday life. Hygienic procedures such as washing hands and face, taking a shower or using the toilet require a properly adapted space.<\/p>\n

Toilet for people with disabilities<\/a><\/p>\n

VitrA offers both floor-standing and wall-hung toilets for people with disabilities, which differ from the standard ones in dimensions and installation parameters:<\/p>\n

The height of the seating surface should be completed from the floor – 46 cm<\/p>\n

Washbasin and mixer<\/a><\/p>\n

The washbasin for people with disabilities has a recessed front part, which makes it easier for a person using a wheelchair to approach.
The mixer<\/a> is distinguished by a long and curved handle, which ensures easy water control from any position.<\/p>\n

Mirror<\/a><\/p>\n

Grab bars<\/a><\/p>\n

Grip bars are installed next to the toilet, shower and bathtub. They are made of 304 grade stainless steel and are equipped with an anti-slip surface.
For a wheelchair user, a grab bar is required on one side of the toilet, and a support fixed to the wall or floor on the other side. It is recommended to install vertical grab bars near the washbasin and mirror.<\/a><\/p>\n

Seating accessories<\/a><\/p>\n

A seat is mainly used in the shower and has the ability to fold. It is ideal for both wheelchair users and elderly people.<\/p>\n
